If the game is too fast or too slow, try hitting CTRL-F11 (slower) and CTRL-F12 (faster).

Download Rastan and launch it with DOSBox to have the best playing experience. The Gravis Ultrasound (another card that doesn't have a true FM synthesiser) had similar issues when emulating AdLib support in it's heyday too. Playing experience can be poor due to your browser or your computer. My statements regarding the FM emulation provided by the Soundscape still stand and go a long way to explaining the difference between the performance of a real AdLib/OPL2/3 on a Soundblaster and your Soundscape - basically the Soundscape gets it 'wrong' and plays the effects and music at the same level.
